President's Message: Rooted in Service with International President Mark S. Lyon
Being “Rooted in Service” is about more than just the service others see us do. It’s about who we are at our foundation. Our roots in service are strong, and they run deep.


PEACE POSTER? WHY BOTHER?
The Lions International Peace Poster Contest has given middle school students ages 11-13 the opportunity to share what peace means to them through art, but also to express how peace would affect their lives, their families, friends and the world! These thoughts were shared by students in a Santa Fe southside lower income area.


International Board Recommends Third Vice President Candidate
The board met earlier this week, and I am pleased to announce that the Lions Clubs International Board of Directors recommends Past International Director Vijay Kumar Raju from Multiple District 316 (India) as international third vice president for election at the 2027 Lions International Convention in Washington D.C., USA.


Espanola "Back to School" Event
The Espanola "Back to School" event in June brought several cheerful volunteers together. Santa Fe Capital City Líons had participated for several years with the Espanola Club , but this year, additional screening services and educational material were provided by the New Mexico Lions Diabetes Awareness Program in the Blue Cross Blue Shield Van with help from Santa Fe Prep Leo Sameera! Free glasses applications and instructions with frame selections were also available
