Service is how we contribute to our communities — but let’s take it one step further. Let’s share our stories and make our clubs more visible through marketing and advocacy. As you serve, tell others about the incredible work you do. When we show how our service impacts the community, we can expand our reach, attract more Lions and community partners, and serve even more people.

The $200, $150 and $100 prizes again will go to our Lions Clubs International Foundation to be credited to each club’s Melvin Jones Fellow fund! Here’s your chance to increase your club’s health and Club Melvin fund to honor a Lion or community member deserving of recognition.

Fall Into Giving with LCIF

Kindness is at the core of our humanitarian mission. With support from LCIF, Lions and Leos can turn compassion into action and reach more people in moments of need. At the August 2026 LCIF Board of Trustees Meeting, 114 grants totaling more than US$13.6 million were approved to strengthen service worldwide.

This fiscal year, International President Lyon invites you to donate to LCIF and be recognized for your continued generosity with the new Presidential LCIF Supporter pin, featuring the Rooted in Service theme.

One of the best things about being a Lion is our service. When we stay grounded in our service, we unlock our club’s full potential. And while service is the most important thing, it’s also important that we help every Lion unlock their potential. Offering an inclusive, welcoming club environment, leadership opportunities and opportunities for personal growth helps attract new members and keep all members engaged and enthusiastic.

Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF) transforms the generosity of Lions, Leos and our supporters into meaningful service and lasting change. Through grants, our global foundation provides resources that enable us to address important needs, expand successful projects and reach more people in communities around the world. LCIF also helps strengthen our association. When people see Lions improving lives through impactful service, they are inspired to get involved.

As we plan for the upcoming year, please complete the LCIF Action Plan Worksheet and discuss how your club can strengthen its support of LCIF. Setting clear goals helps our club's focus efforts, encourage member participation, and maximize our impact through local and global service. Completing this worksheet will help your club identify meaningful LCIF goals, engage more members in giving, and align with our larger mission. Thank you for your continued leadership and servic
