Our District is now showing a growth of 27 members giving us a 3.2% increase. There is still time to meet our District targets and finish out the year on a strong note.

As LCIF Coordinator for District 40, I ask for your club’s support in advancing the Lions Clubs International Foundation mission of empowering volunteers and serving communities. Currently, 19 out of 46 New Mexico clubs have contributed to LCIF; our goal is to increase participation by June 2026. A suggested donation of $20 per member will help us reach more people and work toward a 50% club donation goal.

By making a recurring gift, you can help bring hope and opportunity to communities in need, turning good fortune into meaningful change.

When you join Lions, you may focus on how you will give back to others through service. What you may not immediately realize is how much Lions gives back to you. Becoming a Lion opens the door to experiencing more — more belonging, more purpose, more leadership and more community.

A new year is the perfect time to reflect on your service and fundraising priorities and explore how our global foundation can help you reach even higher. LCIF grants and programs enable Lions and Leos to expand our impact, supporting large-scale projects that no single Lion or club could accomplish alone.

Club Secretary Roxanne Alcon received a letter from Lions International for Vice District Governor Joel Edwards. It was for VDG Joel adding 2 more new members to the Clovis Evening Lions Club. He is a great asset to our club.
