This Lions year is about to be over and it has been a year of many changes, both in D40 and at International, we are all striving to operate in this new digital world. Yup, be sure we are all struggling with technology, however it is not going away so our best option is to learn as best we can. Trying to avoid it and wish for the older ways is not helping anybody.


Officer Training Announcement
I am pleased to announce upcoming Officer Training designed for all club officers, new members, and any Lions who would like a refresher course. This training will provide important information, resources, and tools to help strengthen your club, improve communication, and to support you to have a successful year. To make this training accessible to more members, we will be holding two sessions in different parts of the state. You may attend the session that works best for y


Ruidoso Evening News
The Ruidoso Evening Lions helped the Ruidoso Warrior Special Olympians to raise $4,000.00 at their Spaghetti dinner. International Director Lion Melissa Washburn visited Ruidoso, along with her husband Librarian Johnny Washburn & her partner in service Lion Gemma Ferguson to induct new members and officers. She also presented a very special Melvin Jones replacement plaque to Lion Sam Pirelli. Sam lost his home in the devastating floods last year. We inducted four new members


LCIF Tell-A-Thon
Tell-A-Thon is a global storytelling event where Lions, Leos, families, friends and neighbors come together to hear real stories about why service matters. It’s also an LCIF fundraiser that helps fund even more service in communities around the world.

FARMINGTON EVENING LIONS CLUB DONATED TO NEW MEXICO LIONS OPERATION KIDSIGHT
During the District 40 Cabinet Meeting in Moriarity, NM on March 7, 2026, Farmington Evening Lions Club President Wesley W. Brown, Jr. presented a $500 check to Lion Rita Graham, who represented NM KidSight.
It is our club’s privilege to support NMLOK in their efforts to help all children of NM.
