Sandia Mountain Lions New Officers

New officers were installed July 1 at the Sandia Mountain Lions Club picnic meeting held at the mountain home of Lions Wes and Rena Harris. Installing officer was 2ndVDG K.R. Scott. Pictured are incoming Vice President Rena Harris, President Sammie Hutchison, Treasurer Caroline Hess, Secretary Bob Jones, Tail TwisterSteve-O  Marusich, and PP Membership Chair Sarah Berry.  2ndVDG Scott also  inducted new member Heather Pink who was sponsored by Lion Rena.

Fifteen SMLC Members attended, as well as many invited Lions and officers from Moriarty and Edgewood Lions Clubs, as well as numerous guests.. A large number of recognition awards were presented, honoring Lions from all the clubs. New SMLC member Tony Mittas served as Master of Ceremonies. Food and patriotic table decorations were supplied by Lions Harris and Marusich and their helpers Melissa Jansen, Jean Wubker and Robin Cox.
