Dear Lions,

Leadership is a journey, not a destination. You are not just a Lion you are a leader. People are interested in what we do as lions and will follow us, only if we give them the opportunity to join us. Just Ask. Together, we can achieve more and inspire others to join us on our journey.

October provided optimist and opportunity to learn more. Our 1^st and 2^nd VDG’s completed their training in Montana and I completed my training at the Faculty Development Institute.

As part of the ongoing commitment to leadership development, I encourage you to continue your journey of learning and growth. My mission is to empower you with the skills and knowledge needed to lead effectively and make a meaningful impact in your communities. You not only enhance your personal and professional growth but also strengthen our collective abilities to serve.

There are a few websites that will help keep you motivated and learn more about what Lions International is trying to achieve with Mission 1.5.  I have listed them below with what they have to offer. Please check them out. Sign up you do not need to attend them all but at least you can have the opportunity to do so when you are available. They are great sessions and have a lot to share.

Don’t Forget

·       To explore the LEARN on the Portal. Make sure your officers have completed their trainings. Especially if you are working towards your Club Excellence Award. (10% of members should complete any three courses in the Lions learning center).

·       To Contribute to LCIF a minimum amount equal to the club’s membership total by June 30^th of the previous year, multiplied by US$20.
