During the District 40 Cabinet Meeting in Moriarity, NM on March 7, 2026, Farmington Evening Lions Club President Wesley W. Brown, Jr. presented a $500 check to Lion Rita Graham, who represented NM KidSight. It is our club’s privilege to support NMLOK in their efforts to help all children of NM.

What a busy month March has been and April is looking very similar at the moment. We had a very good Q3 Cabinet meeting in Moriarty and a successful service project. As LCIF Coordinator for District 40, I ask for your club’s support in advancing the Lions Clubs International Foundation mission of empowering volunteers and serving communities. Currently, 19 out of 46 New Mexico clubs have contributed to LCIF; our goal is to increase participation by June 2026. A suggested donation of $20 per member will help us reach more people and work toward a 50% club donation goal.

With the help of D40 LIONS, your New Mexico Lions Eye Foundation was able to support two cataract surgeries before the end of 2025….and there are 2 more applications in the works. Lions, the Foundation still needs your assistance. It takes funds to fulfill the dreams of those who need help. As of January 26th, there are 933 Lion Members in our District.
