Club Secretary Roxanne Alcon received a letter from Lions International for Vice District Governor Joel Edwards. It was for VDG Joel adding 2 more new members to the Clovis Evening Lions Club. He is a great asset to our club.
At our meeting on January 29th, JROTC member Mathew Edwards Mascarenas received a check from the Clovis Evening Lions Club and also Lee Barela (member), Elizabeth Pineda (member) and Dr. Ghaffari (member). The JROTC does a lot of community service in our community. They help us with the Gun Show when the vendors are packing up at the end of the show the JROTC is there to help. There are numerous things I could mention that the kids do to make our community a better place to live in.
