ABQ Breakfast at ABQ International Balloon Fiesta 2025

Albuquerque Breakfast Lions Club volunteered to work at the ABQ International Balloon Fiesta scheduled October 3-11, 2025. We worked in the South Merchandise Tent as baggers. We reported at 4:30-11am for three days (Monday, Tuesday and Thursday). This was our fundraiser to accommodate the upcoming Christmas Party for the Boys and Girls at the Ranches. It was a struggle to get up so early for three days, but it was for a worthy cause. We met and worked with a lot of fun people. The Merchandise Tent had a variety of items: balloon pins, jackets, sweatshirts, t-shirts, gloves, caps, calendars, puzzles and more. The public poured into the tent at 5am each day. They were very excited to buy new items for 2025. We witnessed three wonderful days of Mass Ascension of hot air balloons. We appreciated the opportunity given to us for our fundraiser.
