On Saturday, December 19, 2025, New Mexico Lions Clubs arrived early to prepare for our annual Christmas party for the young people at the Ranches. This year, we had approximately 23 residents to whom we gave gifts. They received athletic shoes, socks, caps (some of which were hand-knit), and goody bags. Lion Frank Lasky instructed

some of the children

on how to grill hamburgers and hot dogs on the grill. An assortment of chips and salad was also served, and a variety of beverages were offered. There was cake and ice cream for dessert. Lion Deborah Bryan gave an introduction to the Lions Club history and the services of Lionism. Lion KR Scott was Santa’s Elf, as he called the children by name to receive their gifts.
ABQ Breakfast would like to thank all the clubs that contributed to and supported this wonderful annual event for the young members at the Ranches. It was a celebrated event for everyone!
