Clovis Evening Lions News

The Clovis Evening Lions Club donated to the City of Clovis for the restoration of an old military gun. The City of Clovis will place it on the West side of town with the F-111D Aardvark plane that is on display at Veterans Park. 

1st Vice District Governor Joel Edwards inducted Earl Large into our Club and pinned Ali Ghaffari (long time member) for sponsoring Earl. 

The Clovis Evening Lions Club had their October Gun Show and as usual

all Lions showed to help. It's always a lot of fun to work together to make

one of our signature projects bigger and better each time. The Gun Show

also can bring out some silliness and surprise member inductions. We 

even added in a t-shirt drive to help Vice District Governor Joel and Lion

Christi raise money for her to go to Hong Kong Convention where VDG Joel

will be inducted. Thank you for all that has helped them raise money.

The Clovis Evening Lions Club donated to Camilla Salgado for band trip expenses.

The students are responsible for paying their own way to competitions. Hopefully, our help made it easier for her to meet her goal.

Clovis Evening Lions Club donated to our local FCCLA to help them get to Nationals.

The FCCLA kids help us each year at our County Fair and we help them reach their goals.

They came to a meeting to tell us about all of their awards and how thankful they are 

for being a part of our club.

The Clovis Evening Lions Club donated to the Salvation Army Kettle Kickoff.

The holidays are always festive and helping others makes what we do even more rewarding. Happy Thanksgiving to each and every one of you!!
