SIXTH ANNUAL NMLDAP STRIDES CONTEST FOR DISTRICT 40!

HOW TO BE COMPETITIVE:  Your Strides event should be a visible, family-friendly activity that combines fun with service.   It should promote diabetes awareness and the importance of healthy exercise for people with diabetes or those at risk for the disease.  It should involve various physical activities but could be educational as well.

Activities might include walking, dancing, cycling, running, skiing , group exercises.  A strides event in a widely used park with health care professional talks netted joint second place in 2024-2025.  Brainstorm with your club !!  Publicity about your event will be a factor in judging
