Las Cruces Cruising Council Toy Drive 2025

Lions Hector Giron (Anthony Lions) and Lion Susie Brusuelas (Los Leones de Mesilla) volunteered at the registration table during the event on Saturday, December 6th. The various sponsors had tables set up for refreshments, snacks, and hot coffee to start the chilly morning of 28 degrees! After the 1k and 5k runners/walkers crossed the finish line, they were presented with their medals. First place in their category/age group would be provided once all participants completed the race. We were happy to participate and spread the Lions mission!! We also met a former Lion of the Santa Fe Capitol Lions - Mr. Steven Chavira, Executive Director of El Caldito Soup Kitchen. We shared business cards with him - just in case he decides to join us later.

Los Leones de Mesilla contributed to this event by donating toys. We have partnered with them in many events to include “trunk or treats”, and Car shows. We look forward in joining forces to help meet our communities needs.
