Los Leones de Mesilla in January although they did not meet on their regular meeting dates. I had visited Las Cruces De Noche and learned of 24 Blessing Bags they were assembling for Feb 14 distribution to the homeless. Lion Lucy arranged the donation of toothbrushes and Lion Susie donated complimentary toothpaste. We donated over 70 pounds of canned goods to Casa de Perigrinos on Jan 22nd. Ms. Hollie Gildar, Burrell college, assisted with a donation of 50 pounds. Also, see the enclosed hoodie promoting our newest global cause- Mental Illness.
