La Mesa Lions Club End of the Year Awards
The club is ready to do more for 2026-2027!


The 3rd Annual Read and Roar Car Show June 13, 2026
The Farmington Evening Lions Club worked with the Farmington Public Library Reading Foundation to put on their third annual car show to benefit our community. It was a blast!!
We had 100 cars along with motorcycles, vendors with everything from food to everything “car,” including insurance agents, customizing supplies, and the most artistic awards that are designed from car parts.


Carlsbad Downtown Lions Year End Party
Lion Boss Johnny Washburn presented Lion of the Year awards to Lion Sherri Chandler and Lion Emma Irizarry. Lion Johnny Washburn received a progressive Melvin Jones award.

Sagebrush Enchanted Hills Eyeglass Processing
Lion Brian Geber, Edgewood, and Lion Rita Graham, ABQ Breakfast, dropped off 10,000 pair of donated eyeglasses to Sagebrush Enchanted Hills Eyeglass processing location. Kristen Johnson is their Eye Clinic Director (top right). Requested Lions help a year ago. They were unable to collect donated glasses to meet their ministry needs. They came to Lions and Lions answered!!!


Farmington Evening Lions Club welcomed District Governor Frankie Davis
Farmington Evening Lions Club welcomed District Governor Frankie Davis to our meeting on April 20, 2026. Also welcomed were the members of the Aztec Lions Club. It was a packed room and it was great to have everyone in attendance.


Farmington Evening Lions Club Donates to the Four Corners Stockman’s Association
Jennifer Halphen (second from the left), President of the Four Corners Stockman’s Association (FCSA) was invited to do a presentation at the Farmington Evening Lions Club meeting to introduce the FCSA and its work to the club. One of the Global Causes for the Lions Clubs is Youth Empowerment bringing the work of FCSA to the forefront.

Sandia Mountain Lions Club News
The May issue of 'Albuquerque The Magazine' featured "Incredible Kids," a column about our 2025-26 Peace Poster Merit Award winner Haven Cook, along with a photo of her holding the poster. Also in May, a picture of the poster and an explanation of it was posted in the East Mountain Library, giving our Lions Club project even more publicity. LCIF Tell-A-Thon
Tell-A-Thon is a global storytelling event where Lions, Leos, families, friends and neighbors come together to hear real stories about why service matters. It’s also an LCIF fundraiser that helps fund even more service in communities around the world.


Artesia Downtown Lions Present 13 Scholarships
The Artesia Downtown Lions were proud to present 13 scholarships, totaling $6,000 to deserving Junior Lions at Artesia High School. Recipients were Javier Rodriguez, Hayli Greenwood, Iliana Luna, Alison Green, Samantha Govea, Kirklyn Miller, Evelyn Gamon-Esparza, Jaslyn Granado, Felicity Padilla, Emily Soto, Cutter Summers and Sarah Plotner.
Recipient of the “Milt Houston Memorial Scholarship” was Amanda Murphy.

Clovis Evening Lions Club has been delivering flowers for Strickland Floral & Gifts for several
years now. We always love seeing the smiles and surprise on the ladies faces.


98th Annual NM/AZ Lions State Convention A Success!
What a weekend! Thank you to everyone who joined us in Carlsbad for the 98th Annual NM/AZ Lions State Convention. From the fellowship to the service, it was a resounding success! 🦁 It was a privilege to host such a dedicated group, and it’s fair to say a wonderful time was had by all!

Moriarty Lions Cub News
Moriarty Lions served the Veteran community by serving hot chocolate and water to the motorcycle escorts for the memorial wall dedication of names added this year. There was at least a hundred riders in the escort.


March DG Newsletter
Our District is now showing a growth of 27 members giving us a 3.2% increase. There is still time to meet our District targets and finish out the year on a strong note.


Clovis Evening Lions Club News
Club Secretary Roxanne Alcon received a letter from Lions International for Vice District Governor Joel Edwards. It was for VDG Joel adding 2 more new members to the Clovis Evening Lions Club. He is a great asset to our club.


Hobbs Lions Chevron Presentation
DG Lion Frankie Davis presented a 45 year chevron to Lion Joe Ramirez, a 35 year chevron to Lion Hermilo Ojeda and a 15 year chevron to Lion Tracy A South.
