The Roar is evolving!
We’re working to make our District 40 Lions Club communication a more streamlined, online-friendly blog that not only keeps members informed but also attracts a wider audience.
Your stories and updates are at the heart of that mission. By sharing your good news, upcoming events, and community impact, you help shine a light on the incredible service Lions are providing across our district.
To make the process smooth and efficient for everyone, here are a few best practices and expectations when submitting your news:
1. Use the Contact Form
Please submit your news through the official submission form here:👉 Submit to The Roar
This ensures your article is received in the right format and reaches our editorial team quickly.
2. Send Photos and Videos
Strong visuals make your stories more engaging! When submitting, attaching a ZIP file containing all your event photos and videos allows you to send multiple files at once through the contact form. This helps us keep your submission organized and easy to process for online publishing.
Your ZIP File can contain photos, video, word documents, and other critical pieces of media that help to tell your story.
3. Focus on Events & Good News
The primary purpose of The Roar is to:
Share your club’s successes and events!
Highlight positive stories of Lions in action for the world to see.
Whether it’s a fundraiser, service project, award ceremony, or member spotlight, your news matters—and it inspires others.
4. Help Us Build Our Online Audience
As we transition The Roar into a more dynamic, blog-style platform, your contributions will help us reach more people, more effectively. Together, we can spread awareness of the Lions mission and showcase the amazing work happening in every corner of our district.
We deeply appreciate your contributions.
Every story shared adds to the proud roar of Lions District 40!
