June DG Letter

                                          Lions and LEO’s of District 40                         June 2026

And just like that the year has flown by.

It has been a great honor and privilege to serve this wonderful District. The opportunity to travel all over the State and meet wonderful Lions and LEO’s in their own areas, doing great acts of service has been the highlight of this great journey.

To each of you whom I have conversed with about all things Lions and who have embraced many of the ideas we discussed, you are the reason it is all worthwhile. We can talk forever but if we never have any action, then it is just a waste.

We are continuing to visit Clubs all the way to July 1 and after that date I will still be available to anybody who reaches out. I automatically become a member of the incoming Cabinet and am here to support and help in any way I can or DG Joel assigns me.

Please continue the service of recruitment as new members keep us all engaged and current.

Continue to access the Portal as there are many new initiatives constantly being added as a result of the constant feedback being received.

Keep an eye also on the website as that’s where all new trainings and Service will be first posted.

Finally, please be available to help the new Cabinet get settled and be prepared to assist if you are requested. This level is new to many of them and a simple word of encouragement might be just what they need to help them along.

Lionism is strong in D40 so lets keep it going into the future
