Farmington Evening Lions Club recently lost Lion Gary Lund. Gary

joined our club on October 1, 2001.
One of Gary’s favorite projects was the Pancake Breakfast. He worked all stations and always had a smile!!
He was great to get sponsors for all of our Fundraising Projects. The joke was, he could get anyone to donate. Some have said that it may have been their way to get him to leave. (Joke!) He had the gift of gab! We will miss that!
He also took on getting bottled drinking water for the projects. He would visit Cascade Water and they would save cases of bottled water for him to pick up.
Gary epitomized the heart of a Lion. Giving his best during any project. He also

volunteered with the Sheriff’s Posse.
He worked at East Main Safeway in Farmington until he retired. The customers all knew him and he was always there to help anyone that needed his help.

Gary liked to tell a joke….or three. He loved to laugh. His happiness was contagious.
Gary is missed by all who knew him, especially his Lions Club Family!

Our heartfelt Condolences goes out to his wife, Donna and all of his family. A special thank you to his daughter Koelle for supplying us with pictures and insight.
