Foundation was able to support two cataract surgeries before the end of 2025….and there
are 2 more applications in the works. Lions, the Foundation still needs your assistance. It
takes funds to fulfill the dreams of those who need help. As of January 26th, there are 933
Lion Members in our District. Which one of You wants to step up and be the first to buy?


LCIF News
A new year is the perfect time to reflect on your service and fundraising priorities and explore how our global foundation can help you reach even higher. LCIF grants and programs enable Lions and Leos to expand our impact, supporting large-scale projects that no single Lion or club could accomplish alone.


Clovis Evening Lions Club News
Club Secretary Roxanne Alcon received a letter from Lions International for Vice District Governor Joel Edwards. It was for VDG Joel adding 2 more new members to the Clovis Evening Lions Club. He is a great asset to our club.


New Member Induction for the Clovis Evening Lions
International Director Melissa Washburn came to our January 22nd meeting to induct 6 new members into the Clovis Evening Lions Club. We enjoyed having International Director Melissa, PCC Gemma Ferguson and Carlsbad Downtown Club president Johnny Washburn and listening to ID Melissa tell us some of the things she has experienced as International Director.


2026 D40 Lions Convention
The Carlsbad Downtown Lions would like to invite you to the D40 Convention in

Edgewood Lions LI Hunger Week Of Service Project
As part of the LI Hunger Week of Service, Edgewood Lions, in partnership withe the Blue Bus, held a Food Drive at Smith's. Due to generous community members, we raised $1300 pounds of food and $550 for the East Mountain Food Pantry and more than 600 food items for the Moriarty Elementary School Food Closet.


Sandia Mountain Lions Club News
Rena Harris was inducted as a new member and pinned by her husband Wes. Originally a Lion in the Dallas, TX, area, she was invited by Lion Steve-O Marusich who struck up a conversation with her last fall at Burger Boy Restaurant. The induction was officiated by PDG Bob Jones at the meeting held at Los Vecinos Community Center.
Three Peace Poster winners were introduced and awarded their financial prizes at the same meeting, a pizza party that also introduced their familie
