Lions Barbara Wright, Larry Langdon, and Carol Marshall of the Albuquerque Breakfast Lions Club participated in Daffodil Days for the Presbyterian Robert Wertheim Hospice House. We volunteered on Wednesday, March 18th, from 9 am to 12 noon. We cut and bundled packs of ten daffodils to prep for vases for donations at Daffodil Days Pop-Up Shops. There were approximately 120 volunteers per shift, making 1,308 small arrangements, 544 large arrangements, and 6,174 bunches.

The Presbyterian Health Care Foundation strives to make a positive impact on health care for communities across New Mexico every day. When you donate to the foundation, 100% of your donation goes towards improving the health and lives of New Mexicans. One creative way they raise funds is through their Daffodil Days Pop-Up Shop.

The organization provides a home away from home for New Mexico residents needing end-of-life care. Friday's fundraiser is set to bring together more than 200 volunteers and to prepare and sell 90,000 daffodils at pop-up shops at locations like Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, and Santa Fe. We enjoyed serving for Daffodil Days!
