The New Mexico Lions Eye Foundation Officers and Trustees can’t thank

Lions enough for their support through the second half of this year. We didn’t sell all

of our Raffle tickets but generous Club donations helped to make up the difference.

There aren’t sufficient words to express our gratitude to all the Lions who participated.

We missed so many of You at the State Convention in Carlsbad. So, here is the

list of Raffle Winners:

Cisco Knox                      1st                $500          Ruidoso Evening

Leslie Aube                      2nd           $250           Clovis Evening

                             Danny Tarzonkowski       3rd            $100          Gallup

Maybe we can come together in Albuquerque for our State Convention in 2027?  Start

making plans now to attend !!!

New Mexico Lions Eye Foundation was able to assist in 3 procedures; two cataract

surgeries and a custom scleral lens fit for an individual with degenerative myopia condition.

Our last individual had an eye prescription of a -19.00 Diopters for distance vision and

almost 6 Diopters of astigmatism. With the help of Lions, this individual will be able to

achieve her goal of going back to work.

Your Foundation Officers are ready to assist any Club willing to sponsor an

individual in need of help. If you are not sure how, give me a call. I will support You through

the Application process.

                Again, Thank You District 40.
