98th Annual NM/AZ Lions State Convention A Success!

What a weekend! Thank you to everyone who joined us in Carlsbad for the 98th Annual NM/AZ Lions State Convention. From the fellowship to the service, it was a resounding success! 🦁 It was a privilege to host such a dedicated group, and it’s fair to say a wonderful time was had by all!

We want to extend a special congratulations to DG Lion Frankie Davis for a remarkably successful year, as well as a warm welcome to the incoming D40 Cabinet led by DG Lion Joel Edwards. This year’s turnout was fantastic, with 128 registrations (plus several future Lions!). We were honored to host Lions from 22 New Mexico clubs, one Leo club, and seven visiting clubs from out-of-state.

We were honored to host PIP Lion Douglas Alexander, who shared invaluable insights from Lions International. His engaging storytelling and deep expertise left us both inspired and well-informed.

The convention was a wonderful opportunity to forge new Lion friendships and renew our connections within the Lions family, reminding us all of the power of our collective service and shared goals.
